Is the typical flower of Barranquilla, also known as San Joaquin in
Colombia and as “Flor Arrebatamacho”. They are from America and Africa. Grows
on hot environments and tropical regions.
It is a very big genre, with lots and diverse species. Cayenas can be
white, red, pink, yellow or purple.
The shrub of the Cayena is small, and its leaves are lanceolate and/or
ovate with serrate edge. The flowers are large and have five petals.
Some medicinal uses:

hydrate skin. It is rich in Mucilage.

cough. With the vapor (specially prepared)

Helps digestive
irritations. The dry plant.

Reduces fever.
Rich in Citric Acid.

Helps with hair
loss. The extract of the plant.
